Docs mobilised to control diarrhoea
District Public Health Office, Banke, has deployed doctors in several places of Nepalgunj Municipality due to the outbreak of diarrhoea.
Doctors and health workers have fanned out to the municipal area after diarrhoea claimed the life of three-year-old Taniya Halwai, daughter of Anish Halwai, of Nepalgunj Municipality-5, said Ram Bahadur Chand, an official of the health office.
Around 275 patients, who are suffering from the disease, are said to be undergoing treatment in Nepalgunj Medical College, Bheri Zonal Hospital and Nepalgunj United Hospital.
