Diarrhea outbreak claims 2 lives in Dang
GHORAHI: A diarrhea outbreak killed two persons and affected around 50 people in Malikhola of Panchakule VDC in Dang district recently.
According to Area Police Post of Panchakule, 50 people have been affected by diarrhea at Jaljala, Syaltara, Lamitara and Chorkhola of the VDC. Two of them have already died, according to Panchakule Area Police Office.
Ammar Kumari Malla, 36, a resident of Mamaikhola, died on Sunday night while undergoing treatment at the local medical centre. However, the District Public Health office is yet to confirm the other death.
A seven-member team led by Public Health Supervisor RD Shah was sent to the diarrhea affected areas. The team has been providing medical service since this morning in the diarrhea affected areas.
